Introducing the Camper Referral Program!
Save $25 for you and a friend when you refer a new camper to our program.
Our mission is to provide our campers a safe and nurturing setting in which each child's physical, emotional and cognitive needs are met in an environment that promotes Jewish Values. We welcome all children regardless of faith or background and strive to enable each of them to develop a strong sense of self-confidence and self-esteem while cultivating lasting relationships with their peers, the camp staff and the JCC.
Camp Chaverim Philosophy
Summer camp is often the highlight of a child's year. Camp Chaverim programs have quality and safety as our foremost objectives. Challenging recreational activities encourage each camper's growth and development. Creative cultural programs culminate in the joyful celebration of Shabbat each week. At the same time, children do not have to be Jewish to attend: Camp Chaverim welcomes everyone regardless of race, religion, creed, or national origin. Friendships and experiences shared at Camp Chaverim have a positive impact that last a lifetime.
Camp Chaverim's goals for our children are:
- To have a safe, meaningful, and fun summer
- To help develop a positive self image
- To encourage growth and learning while sharing fun-filled group experiences with friends
- To provide a comprehensive range of social and recreational activities balancing structure and creativity in an enriching summer experience
