Water Aerobics

Here at the JCC, we offer numerous water aerobics classes throughout the week. There are classes available seven days a week. Download the schedule above, or on the Aquatics "Dive-In" home page, to see class times. We have many qualified instructors who each offer something different. All of our instructors are nationally certified and experienced in water aerobics.
Class Descriptions
Water Fitness
A sixty minute workout that combines aerobic conditioning and muscular endurance.
Senior Water Fitness
A work out to target balance and muscular endurance for all the major muscle groups of the upper and lower body, as well as the abdominals. Keep your range of motion and function with a total body stretch while enjoying the relaxation properties of the water.
Walking 4 Fitness
A great low impact workout utilizing walking patterns and progressions for a total body workout that avoids momentum and torque on the joints.
Instructor's Choice w/ Mind & Body Fitness (I/C w/ M/B Fitness)
Instructor's choice with mindful movements of Tai Chi, Yoga, and Pilates in shallow water. A complete work out for the body and the mind with soothing music.
High Intensity
A workout of high intensity aerobics which can include being suspended in the water, therefore making for a more challenging workout.
Aqua Interval
Interval training challenges participants through timed bouts of moderate and intense exercise.
Interval Water Mix
This sixty minute class is an exciting combination of cardiovascular and resistance training while alternating speeds and intensity levels.
Hydro Happy Hour
Start your weekend with a lively water fitness class. Featuring music you will want to move and groove to.
Shallow/Deep Cardio Mix
A 60 minute workout that combines being suspended in deep water using water belts and shallow water exercises.
Water Running
This class offers intervals of water running. Feel the resistance of the water as you push yourself throughout this class.
Aqua Dance
A fun, low-impact, high-energy workout dancing to your favorite tunes in the water. Get fit and have fun at the same time!
