Youth Basketball
The Jewish Community Center has a 55 year
Tradition of Playing Basketball in the Community!
The Katie and Irwin Kahn Jewish Community Center at the Gerry Sue & Norman Arnold Jewish Community Campus offers basketball to school-aged children in grades 3 - 12. Our teams participate in the Columbia Interfaith Basketball League (CIBL) and the YMCA.
CIBL regulations limit teams to 10 players each. Members are given priority for team placement. Non-members are allowed to play based on availability for a particular team. If more than 10 children register for a certain grade level there will be two teams for the grade.
The season runs from late November until late February of each year. Practices begin in October, and continue throughout the season. All practices are at the Katie and Irwin Kahn JCC. Games are played at various local locations.
All teams are members of the CIBL or YMCA Leagues:
Age Groups:
Boys: Grades 3-12
Girls: Grades 3-12
